They were abused and mocked but the Lord came through for them at the appointed time; after eight years. One can imagine the shame they would have had for eight years. It was not an easy ordeal they had to pass through, but God helped them through it. You, also, might be facing a tough time presently or later. It might be in health, finances, relationship, family, place of work, business, academics or spiritual life. May I remind you that tough times never last? God is always there for you. What he require of you is for you to call unto him and trust him completely. In Jer. 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
