MORE LESSONS FROM THE FIRST ARTICLE (5) Good day everyone! Trust we are doing good. By God's grace, we continue with the ministry of divine helpers. We could see from the story, that the missionary that came to Chioma's village for mission and ended up discipling Chioma's father, among others, was a divine helper to him. A missionary is someone sent by God to do his work of winning souls for God's kingdom and making disciples of them in a specific geographical location. Missionaries must not stop until souls are won and properly discipled for Christ. Although, sometimes, there can be challenges but please don't give up. Trust God for grace and strength to do what he has asked you to do. Also, pray and continue reaching out to souls. Don't get tired. God will grant all our missionaries strength in Jesus name. The missionary discipled Chioma's father and his life got better. There is no better gift we can give to someone than to show Christ to the person. Als

MORE LESSONS FROM THE FIRST ARTICLE (4) From this story, we could see the ministry of divine helpers. First, the headmaster of the community primary school and his family were divine helpers to Chioma's life. They supported Chioma to the very end.  Love and support other children aside your own. Some people would hate other children because they seem to be doing better than theirs. If only you can build up your own child/children too, you would see that there are some other areas your ward can do better. Not everyone has the same gifts, talents, skills or edge. If it is like that, the whole world would be going in one direction. But, we see diversity in the world and what God desires is unity in diversity. If another person's child is doing well in one area or the other, celebrate and encourage that child and urge your children to brace up. They really helped Chioma. Also, the minister that preached and mentored Chioma while she was in secondary school was a divine helper sent

MORE LESSONS ON THE FIRST ARTICLE (3) We could also see the attitude of Chioma's elder siblings towards education. Of course, it's not everyone that will be priviledged to attend school but, as much as you are priviledged, you should make the best use of it. Theirs is true of the Yoruba idiom that says he who has a head does not have a cap to wear on it and he who has a cap does not have a head to wear it on. They had the opportunity to attend the only community primary school in their village and they didn't make the best use of it. Having had the priviledge to go to school, you must make good use of it. If you are presently in higher institution, you must attend lectures, write notes in class. Don't wait to copy notes from someone. What if the person makes mistakes? Do your assignments, ask questions, from your lecturers or other student, if not cleared. Read books, read wide so as to have more knowledge. It's not everything you'd be taught by your lecturers.

MORE LESSONS ON THE FIRST ARTICLE (2) Hello there!🤗 How have you been? We want to continue with the lessons drawn from the first article on this blog. I hope we've been applying them in our life journeys. If yes, glory be to God. If not yet, let's trust God for grace to do so. There is grace available with God. Scripture says grace and truth comes with Jesus. Trust God for grace. Alright. From the first article, we saw, also, that Chioma's mother was a very intelligent and educated woman. This brings to us that women must be educated and wise. Gone are the days when education was not meant for females. We really thank God because it's not like that anymore. Therefore, embrace education. Don't let anyone look down on you as a woman. Don't allow the saying "women are weaker vessels" to make you not to maximize your God-given potentials. Proverbs 31 vs 10-31 expressly portrayed the attributes of a virtuous woman. Be this kind of woman. She is hardworkin
