 MORE LESSONS ON THE FIRST ARTICLE (2)

Hello there!🤗 How have you been? We want to continue with the lessons drawn from the first article on this blog. I hope we've been applying them in our life journeys. If yes, glory be to God. If not yet, let's trust God for grace to do so. There is grace available with God. Scripture says grace and truth comes with Jesus. Trust God for grace.

Alright. From the first article, we saw, also, that Chioma's mother was a very intelligent and educated woman. This brings to us that women must be educated and wise. Gone are the days when education was not meant for females. We really thank God because it's not like that anymore. Therefore, embrace education. Don't let anyone look down on you as a woman. Don't allow the saying "women are weaker vessels" to make you not to maximize your God-given potentials. Proverbs 31 vs 10-31 expressly portrayed the attributes of a virtuous woman. Be this kind of woman. She is hardworking and very kind. Her husband safely trusts in her. Some women love to talk bad about their husbands; anywhere. This ought not to be so. Some women cannot protect the secrets of their husbands. Let your husband's secret(s) be safe with you. Let it not be that your husband will not want to share some secret things with you because he knows they would soon be in open air. Everyone would surely hear about it, including the person or people concerned. Someone came for counselling session with your husband, your husband cannot share safely with you because, number one, you'd start looking at the person with a bad eye; number two, you'd start spreading the person's problems all around for people to know. You were made to be a suitable helper for your husband.

Also, don't be lazy as a woman. As a wife, you need to take care of yourself and your household. You need to see to the welfare of your household Spiritually, physically and other areas of life. A woman must be prayerful. She must know God and believe in him. She must not be slack in her duties as a wife and as a mother. She must be able to perform her responsibilities well without supervision. There are many virtuous women in the Bible that we can learn from. Sarah, Rebekah, Hannah, Deborah, Esther, Mary, Elizabeth, Priscilla, Dorcas and many more. Look into their lives and pick one good lesson you can learn from each of them and do them. Inculcate them into your life habits and you'd definitely see changes. I pray God will continue to help us in Jesus name.

I apologise to our fathers and brothers reading through but, you, definitely, would have picked up one or two things from this write-up. However, this is not a yardstick to measure our wives or women's behaviour. It is how it ought to be. But, peradventure we have someone or some people not yet measuring up to this standard, we can start by praying for them, advise them in a good way, correct with love and we can also invite them to read this blog. CAUSES OF DELAY (CONT'D) LESSONS FROM SECOND ARTICLE

 5) Sin Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: But sin is a reproach to any people.  Sin is a major cause of delay. Some people experience delay, not because God wants it but, because they have sinned. Moses and the children of Israel experienced delay in the wilderness, because of the sin of disobedience. Num. 14:34 "After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise." Joshua 5:6 "For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey."  Disobedience is sin and it can lead to delay in the fulfilment of God's promis

ARTICLE ONE - EPISODE 3

 EPISODE 3  Chioma immediately accepted the great task. She received burdens and began to tend to them. She began to raise voices of intercession unto God and prayer altars to God on behalf of her family and, of course, she put the headmaster's family in prayers too. When she got to SSS3 class,  things began to turn around for her family. Rapid change began to take place. A young missionary came to her village together with his family and held a crusade. The power of God moved mightily and Chioma's father was one of the converts. He visited the missionary's house and was followed up by the missionary. His way of life changed and he began to work hard on his farm. He received a grant from an agricultural association and got a bigger farm.
