 EPISODE TWO

John began to grow and he was enrolled in the best school in that city. He had all he wanted. In short, he was spoiled with goodies. Yes, he was the only son. Prince and Mrs Adeyori tried to have another child but they couldn't. This made John to think highly of himself. One day, his mother was talking to him about his behaviour. His reply was that his parents were very lucky to have had him. If he were not around, would they be talking to him like that?. He got the beating of his life that day. He was surprised that his mum, who never laid hands on him to beat him like that, could do so. He cried so much, much more as a result of the disappointment he'd just got and that event was what led to his brokenness. 

On Sunday morning when he got to church, John, who used to beat up the other boys and even some girls, sat gently and could not respond well to the Sunday school teacher. The teacher noticed John's unusual quietness and asked what the matter is. It was then, John told him that his mother scolded him the previous day for his wrong behaviour. The Sunday School teacher, Mr. Afolarin, then explained to him that a child must be obedient to his/her parents. He/she must be submissive, especially, if he or she is lucky to have godly parents like his. He then told him how that Jesus Christ has died for his sins and he could repent and accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and saviour and he would receive a new life. The old habits and wrong behaviour would pass away as he grows in grace. John accepted Jesus Christ right there and then at the age of eight. He became a changed person. He apologized to other children he had wronged and became friends with them. 

John's mother noticed the sudden change in behaviour of her son and called his attention to it. It was then that John thanked his mother for beating him that Saturday which led to his repentance and brokenness on Sunday which brought him to Christ through his Sunday school teacher, Mr. Afolarin. John's mother was so grateful to God for saving her son. She thanked God for answering her secret prayers over him. She knelt down and worshipped God.

 5) Sin Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalteth a nation: But sin is a reproach to any people.  Sin is a major cause of delay. Some people experience delay, not because God wants it but, because they have sinned. Moses and the children of Israel experienced delay in the wilderness, because of the sin of disobedience. Num. 14:34 "After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise." Joshua 5:6 "For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey."  Disobedience is sin and it can lead to delay in the fulfilment of God's promis

ARTICLE ONE - EPISODE 3

 EPISODE 3  Chioma immediately accepted the great task. She received burdens and began to tend to them. She began to raise voices of intercession unto God and prayer altars to God on behalf of her family and, of course, she put the headmaster's family in prayers too. When she got to SSS3 class,  things began to turn around for her family. Rapid change began to take place. A young missionary came to her village together with his family and held a crusade. The power of God moved mightily and Chioma's father was one of the converts. He visited the missionary's house and was followed up by the missionary. His way of life changed and he began to work hard on his farm. He received a grant from an agricultural association and got a bigger farm.
