MORE LESSONS ON THE FIRST ARTICLE (1)

MORE LESSONS ON THE FIRST ARTICLE (1) From this article, we learn that women are to be submissive to their husbands. The book of Ephesians 5:23 says "wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord". We could see total submission in the life of Chioma's mother. Even though it looked foolish, she totally submit all to her husband. God is calling wives unto submission to their own husbands. It's true, he's beating you, it's true, he is not providing for your needs, many of those things are true but, leaving the home for him is not the best way to solve it. Rebellion against him, that's not the way! Fighting back at him won't bring peace into the home. Your children may be led astray that way and the word of God says "train up your child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it - Proverbs 22:6". Is that the way you want your child/children to go through? Instead of arguments, why don't you go

You might have come from a very humble background, you might say your family is as poor as a church mouse but, you must know that that, is not the end. It is only the beginning. So, quit the self-pity party and begin to work hard and trust God for good success. P.S: You also need the Saviour Jesus Christ. Chioma was becoming "successful" even before she came in contact with Jesus but she could not affect her family. However, things really turned around when she met Jesus. Joy came, success came, her prayers positively affected her family and those who surrounded her. It is only after we have accepted Jesus Christ that we become God's children and he can use us

EPISODE 2 Chioma's elder sister, after completing her primary school education, began to flirt around considering the fact that her family was so poor and she had come of age because she repeated, many times, different classes and she had to be pushed to just complete the primary school education. Before long, she was put in the family way and she packed her loads to her husband's house (a drunkard).  At the age of ten, Chioma graduated from the primary school as the best graduating student because she had received double promotion and she was given scholarship to further her studies. That was how she received help and support to further her studies. In fact, the headmaster, having known her family background, promised to take care of her even to higher institution because he was a great lover of education.  ARTICLE ONE In a small village lived a family of ten. Chioma happened to be the fifth child and the third female. Here is a quick breakdown of the gender of the children. First three children were male, fourth child female, fifth child female (Chioma), sixth child male and last two children were female. This makes a total of four male and four female Children. Now, as beautiful as the composition of this family is, they were very poor. Chioma's father was a drunkard, having a little farm. He uses most of the little sales he derive from his farm to drink palmwine at the popular palmwine joint. Chioma's mother was a petty trader. She sells her husband's little farm produce coupled with some other petty things in the village market square and as a submissive wife, she gives the returns of the sales from her husband's farm produce to him so that he gives her and the children what he seems fit (as commanded by her husband). Life continued in Chioma's family with little
