From this story, we could see the ministry of divine helpers. First, the headmaster of the community primary school and his family were divine helpers to Chioma's life. They supported Chioma to the very end.

Love and support other children aside your own. Some people would hate other children because they seem to be doing better than theirs. If only you can build up your own child/children too, you would see that there are some other areas your ward can do better. Not everyone has the same gifts, talents, skills or edge. If it is like that, the whole world would be going in one direction. But, we see diversity in the world and what God desires is unity in diversity. If another person's child is doing well in one area or the other, celebrate and encourage that child and urge your children to brace up. They really helped Chioma.

Also, the minister that preached and mentored Chioma while she was in secondary school was a divine helper sent by God. No matter what we acquire in this life, if we don't have Jesus, we would perish with them. But, God does not want us to perish even as it is certain that the things of this world will perish with the world. That is why, when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and we believe in him, we become separated unto God. We are no longer of this world therefore, we cannot perish with this world. So, that was a very needed divine helper to Chioma. Please, recognise your divine helpers, appreciate God for them and cherish them too.

However, the neighbours that do rescue Chioma's eldest brother whenever he got into trouble were also divine helpers because, they helped in preserving his life. If they had left him, he might have been killed by the angry mob. Hmmn. It is well. Some people are very wicked. We see many cases of child abuse and child molestation. It is true what he did was wrong but, there is a way to properly correct a child. Do not abuse God's gift. Children are gifts from God. In Psalms 127, it is written; children are the heritage of God. I beg parents to allow God's wisdom in dealing with their children. So, they protected him and rescued him from the cold hands of death till he received grace, accepted Jesus and he became someone great in life. You should love your neighbour's children. Discipline them as you discipline your own child or children, correct them in love, when they are wrong. Rescue them when in trouble and show them the godly way of life. I pray God will keep on helping us in Jesus name.

I'll have to pause here. We'll continue at another time by God's grace. I don't want it to get too bulky now. Alright. See you next time by God's grace. Please, meditate on these words. God bless you. Stay tuned for more life lessons.
