PATIENCE Patience is the quality of being patient. To be patient means to be willing to wait if necessary; not losing one's temper while waiting. It also means physically able to suffer or bear. Mayowa's parents were not able to wait, to physically suffer hunger for a day, therefore, they went out on that day they knew that they ought not to go out and they could not make it back home alive. Some words associated with patience in the Bible include endurance, waiting, staying and steadfastness. Please note that while you are waiting, you are not wasting. Many people think they are wasting their time by waiting on the Lord and doing accurately his bidding but no, they are wrong. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint."
