LIFE LESSONS DRAWN FROM THE FIRST ARTICLE (3)

Another ingredient for prayer is Faith. When we pray, we must have a believing heart. Don't doubt God. James 1:6-8 "6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." Believe that you are talking to a prayer answering Father who loves you and is willing to give you all you desire according to His will. You see, God will only answer according to his will. James 4:2-3 "2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." God will never give you what will kill or harm you just because you asked for it. If any of such "prayers" got answered, the devil is behind it. You gave him room. That was why Scripture says "give no place to the devil (give him no foothold)". God is good and "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of light with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning" James 1:17. So, God wills good for you always. And that is not to say that God does not will it for you if you've not yet seen the manifestation of what God has already done. God wants only good things for us. He said He knows his thoughts towards us, that they are  thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11. In his book; A better way to pray, (this book was given to me by my discipler and I really thank God for it and God bless my discipler too) Andrew Wommack said and I quote "it often takes a period of time before what God has done in the spiritual world manifests in the physical world." So, some delays might not be God's will for you, it might be the devil and demons fighting your results from coming to proper view and this should not make us give up, instead, it should strengthen us to command, in the name of Jesus, our results out of the hands of the forces of darkness, if it happens. Daniel is an example of this lesson. Daniel 10:12-13. "12Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia." God had answered Daniel's prayers and given a command but we could see a restrain. But, now that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, we are now seated with Christ in the heavenly places, far above  principalities and powers and rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness; we can now command our blessings out of their hands if they are trying to stop them. This is how much we are blessed. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all Spiritual blessings in the heavenly places, in Christ - Ephesians 1:3. "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:" - 2Peter1:3. "All things are possible; if you believe -Mark 11:24", that's Apostle Smith Wigglesworth's favourite quote. I see a generation of believers rising and holding forth the word of life, rightly dividing the word of truth, conquering kingdoms and Nations for Christ.

Thank You Father. When we have these understandings, prayer would become our lifestyle and we would achieve better results. So, basically, I've shared, by God's grace, three ingredients in Prayer - Love, heartfelt(heart of prayer and heart for prayer), Faith. Scripture says "For without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that comes unto God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him- Hebrews 11:6".

God bless you.
